Technology Reference Model Editor

The Technology Reference Model Editor allows you to manage your technology reference model. Here you can create, edit, and delete Technology Capabilities, and add them to your technology reference model. Do this by simply dragging the capabilities from the left column to the model on the right. To detach a capability from the reference model, select it, then click detach. We recommend watching the video below for a complete overview on how to use the Technology Reference Model Editor.

You can filter by using the search bars or display “Orphans Only’. Meaning only capabilities without a parent technology capability will be displayed.

Data Capture

In the Cloud/Docker, navigate to the Technology Domain class, and add/create the technology domain(s). To set the position of where in the model the class instance will be displayed, populate the Classified As slot with either Top, Middle or Top. In the Contains Technology Capabilities slot, add/create the technology capabilities.

View Set-Up

To enable the report go to EA Support > Essential Viewer > Report >Editor and find Core: Technology Reference Model Editor, tick Enabled to ensure that the Editor is displayed in the Essential Viewer.
