The Issues Catalogue is a table collection of issues with status, their priority, and impacts.

The following information is contained in the Issues Catalogue

Issues: – Issue item name
Org Scope: – The organisation it impacts
Issue Source: – Issues reporter
Status:- The status of the issue
Last Modified:- Date of the most recent changes to the issue item
Impacting:- The strategic requirement the issue impacts. This can be linked to any architectural element(s) (Business, Information/Data, Application and/or Technology) in the landscape

Usage

The issues catalogue provides a list of known issues and the elements that they impact. This allows organisations to understand the issues that might impact a Strategic Plan or Project, or an element that is
being updated, for example an Application or Business Process so it can be addressed.

Add Issues to the Issue Class in EA Support>Strategy Management>Strategy
Requirements

The slots that need to be completed are:

Name

Lifecyle status (Approved, Draft, Ready for Ideas or Under Planning) in the Sr Lifecycle Status slot (a required field). NB This is to capture the current status of the issue

Priority (Low, Medium, or High) in the Business Priority slot.

The organisation that raised the issue to the Source slot

The organisation to which the issue applies to the Sr Org Scope slot

The status of the issue requirement to the Requirement Status slot. NB This is to capture the current status of the resolution to address the issue.

The strategic requirement element which the issue impacts in the Sr Requirement For Elements slot.

View Set-up

If the report is not enabled then go to EA Support > Essential Viewer > Report and find Core: Issue Catalogue and tick enabled to ensure that the Issues Catalogue is displayed in the Essential Viewer.
