In the Essential meta model, you can allow and restrict access to classes, instances, slots, portals, reports and views to users based on their needs. This is achieved by creating security groups and the appropriate security classification levels via Manage Classifications within the Repository Administration Menu.
The created security group and its classification levels can be applied per user basis or by selecting a group of the user via the Manage Repository Users within the Repository Administration Menu.
This helps to speed up security applications to repositories and viewers. Please view the document below for further guidance.
