More good news for clients, the February monthly release also saw a highly requested update to the Business Capability Dashboard, as well as AI advice on the BPMN Flow Modeller. Users now have the option to view the dashboard with a business process overlay as well as the existing choices.
Business Capability Dashboard
The process overlay gives you the ability to view the Business Capability Dashboard focusing on related processes, just select the numbered circle of capability and a slide in menu will appear displaying the processes supporting the selected capability, with the business criticality of that process also displayed. This makes viewing the relationship between your processes and capabilities much easier than before, with the ability to also switch to other overlays without moving from the view. If you have a business process flow defined, then a button will appear which you can click to view the flow in the Dashboard
You also have the ability to view KPIs against business capabilities. This feature is great for viewing the KPIs for your business capabilities, mapped either directly against the capabilities or inferred from KPIs against the processes or applications supporting them.
BPMN Process Flow Modeller
Some editors do already have AI advice supporting them, and now that has been added to the BPMN Flow Modeller. This supports you in the building of your process flow models and provides suggestions on, either what new flow should be, or provides advice on optimisations to an existing process, which can really help to speed up the mapping and re-engineering process flows.
Please note to get the AI advice it requires the latest DUP, download it from the release notes here.
