Hi,
While trying to create a new instance of Technology_Deployment_Architecture class, seems to me that a graphic modelling field is missing:
All of the other fields are present:
What's wrong here?
By the way, I'm using Protégé 3.5 and Esential 4.3.1
I'd appreciate your help

Hi Gian Piero,
This appears to be a bug. We can replicate this here and will resolve in the next release.
This model describes the relationship between technology nodes (e.g. servers, physical networks) without the context of what they are doing. Think of this as a sort of plumbing diagram. However, these classes have never been used by ourselves and represent something of an edge-case in terms of modelling the enterprise. Nevertheless this is a bug we will look to fix.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention
Regards
Neil

Hi Neil,
Thanks a lor for your response.
That model would be necessary for the creation of two basic TOGAF Technology Architecture artifacts: Network Computing Hardware Diagram and Communications Engineering Diagram, so until the new release We will not be able to create those artifacts using Essential.
That's frustrating, sorry to say.
Regards.

Hi Gian Piero,
We've created an update pack (EUP) which fixes this in the current version.
You run the update from the Essential Update tab in Protege. Simply use the Browse button to point to the downloaded file and click the Apply Update button to run the update.
As with any update, ensure you have a recent backup and run this on a test deployment before installing on a production deployment.

Thanks again
