Do we need to Publish after updates done by API calls?

Hello,

A quite basic question: do we need to publish a repository after having updated some instances via API?
If it's the case, can we automate this publishing?

Hi Thierry,

Short answer, yes. Updates via API update the active repository but you need to republish for the changes to be reflected in the Viewer snapshot.

We have do have a Publish API which you could use to automate the Publish frequency. Reach out to the Essential Support team and they will get you access to this API.
