Hi, with enhancements of application editor (which looks great) it is clear, that you tend more to model modules of applications as instances of Composite_Application_Provider class. This seems to be fine for me, as is it more aligned with Application Component artifact of Archimate.

However, there are several issues:

• such modules are still present in the application catalogue and application editor as they would be a standaloneapplications

• slot contained_application_providers is filled in, but slot parent_application_provider is not a simple reference of the same relationship

• it is unclear now, how to deal with Software_Component class - is it deprecated now?

From my perspective, if parent_application_provider would be a reference to application-module relationship, it would be easy to filter modules out from application catalogue and editor. With having that, there would be no usage for Software_Component - not sure, which dashboards or catalogues are using it.

Could you please elaborate more about this topic?
