Hello,
for integration (import API), we would like to use technical account to import XML data into Essential. Is there an option, to setup the password of such user without having a mailbox? We are using docker version of Essential.

Hi

It is not possible to create an account that does not have an email account. The account is required for processes such as activation and password reset.

For security reasons user passwords expire and must be updated every few months.

Have you considered the app key style approach vs user/pwd?

To make it easier to manage accounts that are used by APIs, it is possible to use an account for which the password does NOT expire.

Contact Essential Support to have such an API user account set up.
