Hi Community

Can someone please guide me on populating the tech product summary cost on this view - https://essentialviewer.com/report?XML= ... T&cl=en-gb

I have added costs for applications and they are visible in the application cost field on the application summary view. I have repeated the same process and linked the cost to the Technology_Product but the cost is not being displayed.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Ben,

We've had a look at the view and the view is using a slot is called maintenance cost, which is a simple float. We're going to deprecate that and add code to use the same cost class as applications. We'll aim to get it in the next release, due July(ish). I'll see if we can push the view up here sooner for you.

We've obviously missed adding this Cost slot to the tech provider view so sorry about that.

Hi Ben,

This will be in 6.16

If it's urgent, drop it in the technology folder of your viewer (I think you are using Open Source) and it should work

Any problems then let us know

Hi Neil,
Great Tool.
I have some queries:
1) Is it possible to make the Technology Summary Page show the cost exactly like the application summary page (itemized cost vs maintenance cost?)
2)Would it be possible to send out an email to a group/individual when the tech product reaches its renewal date?

Thanks!

1). We're refreshing the summaries, that is on the list to do and cost will be part of that process
2) Not yet, the sensor framework will enable this, but the first iteration was around content governance based on dates data was captured. It's on the roadmap but we have a few other priorities we are working through first
