Hello Essential Project folks,

I'm interested in checking out your ontologies -

Can I download just the metamodel(s) into my IDE?

An RDFS or OWL file from the Web?

Can't seem to find them...

Thanks in advance for any answers...

Regards,

George

Hi George,

The Essential Meta Model in conjunction with some of the OOTB instances provide a partially populated ontology that, as you continue to model your organisation creating more instances, build an ontology about your enterprise.

It may be worth having a look at this blog article for some more background around our approach to OWL and RDFS.

However, recently I exported the latest version of the meta model with some optional packs applied from Protege into OWL format. I've uploaded this to our Share Area in the Example Repositories section. You can download and unpack the ZIP file to get the OWL RDF/XML document.

Hope this helps

Jonathan
