Thanks for raising this one.
The issue is down to a missing statement in some of these related files for the namespace that used for the internationalisation framework.
We've checked and actually there are a few files that are affected, so we will resolve this and issue a version 4.0.1 of Essential Viewer.

We've released a new version of Essential Viewer that will resolve these issues.
The new version is available in the updated 'essentialinstall4.jar' installer. Download and run this new installer, selecting only the Essential Viewer component.
