Now I am in the publication of information, I am looking for the Essential Viewer to contain all the Architecture Information that we handle and about this I have a question, is it possible to create profiles? So that certain information is restricted to said profile or is there a way for certain information to only be available or accessible to only some people?

Hi daniel.victoria,
Unfortunately, due to technical constraints, this is not possible in Essential Open Source. This is available in the commercial Essential Cloud and Essential Docker (on-premise) versions where we have added additional software and infrastructure to support this. In these products, this is managed through security classifications which can be assigned to any object in the repository at a Class, Slot or specific Instance level. These classifications are assigned at a user level providing a great deal of flexibility in how access is controlled. Common use cases are controlling access to cost data, project and programme data, access to specific views/portals and so on.
This cannot be realistically added to open source as this would require adding a lot more complexity - such as a REST API layer, a complete AuthN layer, etc - which would be difficult to support in an open-source capacity.
Cheers,
Neil
