Essential Open Source - Default Currency

Hello.
I have entered a new currency for Canadian Dollars, marked it as DEFAULT, and checked that no other currency was marked as DEAFULT.
However, cost values are being displayed in Essential Viewer using British Pounds.

What have I missed in the metamodel?
Is this an error and needs correcting?

Further clarification about this item. Maintenance Costs for Technology Products are displaying in British Pounds instead of $ Canadian.
