I am new on Essential and on Ubuntu. I have followed the instructions but I can´t access Essential from the web-browser.
Pretege and Tomcat are working fine.
Please help me.

Can you provide a bit more information on what you see.
1) Can you see the viewer from the Tomcat Manager?
2) Are you seeing any errors?

Thanks,
I have Tomcat running, however when I click on "essential_viewer" folder from "Tomcat Web Application Manager", I received the following message

"Http Status 404 Not found
...
Description: The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose thant one exist"

Pretege 3.5 is working fine

Thanks for the update.

You are using Tomcat Manager, so we know that Tomcat is running.

Can you check in the <TOMCAT HOME DIRECTORY>/webapps folder and check that you have:

a) essential_viewer.war file
b) essential_viewer directory

Note that any version suffixes on the "essential_viewer" are important. e.g. essential_viewer_6.9.2.war is accessed by the URL, e.g.: http://localhost:8080/essential_viewer_6.9.2

New deployments of Essential Viewer use this to avoid accidentally over-writing a previous version which may contain custom Views that you may have created
