Please find below viewhttps://essentialviewer.com/demo_v6/rep ... s&cl=en-gb for application costs. (you can visit here)
The following are the available with the product.
1. It has costs only for business applications (not technology components level)
2. It does not specifically say license costs. How to handle this.
Let me know how to get costs for technology components for example this view(https://essentialviewer.com/demo_v6/rep ... s70039Link) application used IBM Websphere and Oracle, how to show costs detailed levels.
Application License Costs handling - How to
The first view consolidates application costs only, not technology. Sorry, but for now to add costs for technology, you'd need to write a view.
To do this, capture the costs against the technology as shown in the 'Managing Costs' diagram here https://enterprise-architecture.org/howto.php. Write a template to iterate around each cost type associated with the technology and render that.
Hope that helps

Hi,
After following the demo links we thought the view would be a great visual addition to our "dashboards". That lead onto this silly question - where can I find a copy of: ess_al_app_cost_analysis.xsl ? Is it contained within a launchpad? If so then, clearly, I haven't requested it and need to. Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Keith

Hi Keith,
Sorry, but at the moment that's a commercial view. However, we are updating the commercial views with new features and depth, and moving some of the ones being replaced across to the free views. There are a couple moving across shortly, you'll see a new release in the next few weeks, but this one is likely to be in the release after that one.

Hello team,
Link provided is broken, thanks to please help with how to view Application License Costs in View Library, on stand alone install
That's an old post to an older version of viewer, the latest view is here https://essentialviewer.com/demo69/repo ... w&cl=en-gb
Thank you John for the help, I have found the view however the data is not getting populated.
Is there any tutorial that can help me populate the application costs in 'core_al_app_cost_analysis.xsl' view?
Thanks to please help

Hi, have a look at the Managing Costs 'how to' towards the bottom of the Meta Model Diagrams section here https://enterprise-architecture.org/howto.php
If you associate costs with your apps (the Repository Element) in line with this then it should work

Hi John,
In enterprise/core_el_supplier_license_mgmt.xsl view, the Total Cost and # of licenses is not getting
populated, which class/relation/field in the editor are reflecting these values?
Thanks
Parveen
