We want to understand the nuances of having "Application Name1 (Country)" against "Application Name1", "Country"

I understand the infra team recommends to have each "Application Name1 (Country)" because each will be tagged to different server.

I also know that we have deployed location tagged to application.

Please guide through these choices and its benefits.

Do note that if we avoid "Application Name1 (Country)" this option. Interfaces cannot show the connectivity differences. (Application Dependency Information View) Application to Application Interfaces. If the same application works / interact differently with another application hosted in different server because of change in country.
See the above it just shows a mapping application - list of servers but not showing exactly which application-site combination hosted in which server.

This depends if it is a different instance of the application - if it is the same deployed in lots of places then it should be just the application name, if it is a different configuration then it is a different application and so you would need a different name, in which case you could use "application, country" as a naming convention.

(1)Currently the screen shot "Applications Host by Country" shows hosted,accessed in different color because of different country.
In case of an application hosted and accessed by same country how the output look like do you have any sample.

(2) Also can some one clarify, how "country accessed" is mapped into the meta model (which column)
We understand server hosted in column can provide "hosted country" (Servers data capture sheet)

(3) How do we know which server tagged to which site from the above view?

To answer your questions:

At present, the view, does not highlight countries where the application is both viewed and hosted, but we could easily add a 3rd colour to the legend to indicate this scenario.

Again, at present, the structure of the view is such that this distinction is not being shown, however, we could easily add site information to each entry in the Sever column
