We are trying to setup the subject mentioned views. We setup this for interface catalgoue in our EA context.

Referring this https://enterprise-architecture.org/models.php

From the below diagram
business-service-meta-model-mapping-diagram.png
we understand the following are the participants.

product-type(interface names?)
application- provider (applications?)

consumers (outbound applications?)
providers (inbound applications)

how to configure the data so that we get HOPS between applications via interfaces.

Example App1 - > interface1 -> App2 and App2->interface2->App3 and so on...

in the above cases what are applications, interfaces, consumers and providers?

Let me know if i am not clear on the request

Hi,

The view you are using shows products/services, the organisational (not apps) providers and consumers and the apps they use. It won't show apps and interfaces. If you check the view of the same name in the demo viewer you'll see what it outputs.

For what you have described, I think you are looking for this view: http://essentialviewer.com/demo/report? ... s&cl=en-gb

Have a look at the Application Information Dependency model here https://enterprise-architecture.org/models.php. There is a 'how to' video to on the videos page

Thanks John, we were able to create those models and publish to our application.

Is there any way we can import/add those through protege in bulk? we have several thousands.

We also would like to get this "business-service-meta-model-mapping-diagram" :

Can you throw some light with example data on what goes to Business Process and Physical Process and how it is related to Applications?

If you are looking at interfaces between applications then you need to use the Application Information Dependency Model.

The Business Service Interaction model you are looking at is mapping business services to applications, not application to application which it seems your example is asking for.
