It would be great to be able to have a version of essentialinstallxxx.jar that allows unattended installation (i.e. no interactive prompts - just reading from a configuration file).

This would help with scripted installation in virtual environments and/or docker.

Is the installer itself open source? If so, can someone please point to the source?

Hi,

There's actually this option built into the installer (almost). At the end of the install, you can tick the box to have it create a script the captures what you selected via the GUI-based install. You can then replay this script into the installer program and have it re-perform the install for you.

Alternatively, the Essential Architecture Manager installation is relatively straight-forward and is primarily about dropping the files in the correct locations. Having got all of the deployed components, it would be pretty straightforward to script where each of these should be deployed.
