I'm new to importing. I have everything up and running on a local PC. I've been given and bunch of excel spreadsheets and the scripts to import them. I've review the tutorials but it just addresses the existing sample data. How do I start with a fresh repository and import the excel spreadsheets?

Can you provide a bit more information so we can advise? You describe some spreadsheets and scripts...

What are scripts? (maybe provide some filenames?)
Are the Excel documents specific templates for capturing data or general business spreadsheets? (you could provide a screenshot of the header and first row or two)
