This sounds like you are opening the out-of-the-box 'meta_project.pprj' that is included in a standard Protege installation.

We provide an updated version of this, that includes a starting point for the definition for the Essential repository, in the Essential Installer. If you have not already installed the server components, you can run the installer again and select the 'Server' package. This will then ask you where you would like to deploy the meta project.

Let me know if you have any problems with this.

Hello,

I also have an issue with multi user install.

When I try and run the run_protege_server.sh startup script I am getting error messages.
EM: "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: edu.stanford.smi.protege.server.Server_Stub"

I have followed the install guide here.
http://www.enterprise-architecture.org/ ... multi-user

I am using:
  • Oracle java version "1.7.0_60"
    Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
    Protege Version 3.5 (Build 663)
    mysql-server Version: 5.5.35
    graphviz Version: 2.36.0-0ubuntu3
    tomcat7 Version: 7.0.52-1
