Hi,

I need a small hint how to fix the following problem:
SEVERE [http-nio-8080-exec-10] org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapperValve.invoke Servlet.service() for servlet [reportService] in context with path [/essential_viewer] threw exception
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException

This exception occurs while sending XML snapshot. These are messages within the publishing box:
Rendering repository...
Sending repository snapshot...
Checking for access...
Sending XML snapshot...
Failed to send snapshot to the Report Service :
Essential Viewer ReportService encountered an internal error while receiving your repository snapshot. Contact your system administrator and check Essential Viewer server logs for errors, e.g. memory exceptions.

Could you help me with that? Thank you.

Hi,

First thing to try is a restart of Tomcat.
Next a reinstall of your Java VM
Finally, increase the memory allocation to Protege (under the protege.lax tab of preferences)
