It's possible that you have an problem WAR file. I do recall a packaging issue with the 6.9 release at some point which we resolved.

The error shows you’ve run out of memory whilst opening the project or applying the update. Protege will need at least 1.5 GB or ideally 2 GB or more to run correctly. We haven't done any testing yet with Java 11 and we are already aware of issues with Java 9. We're hopping to address this in the next month or two.

In the meantime, you can install Java 8 alongside Java 11 if you need to have 11 installed but Java 8 remains our recommended version at the moment.

I just tested PDFing this view on our demo site https://essentialviewer.com/demo and it worked fine for me there.

Which version of Essential you running?
Which OS / Browser?
What are you using to generate the PDF?
