Re: Open Source API Documentation

Hi Declan, Essential Open Source offers a basic REST API for the Import Utility to perform automated imports of XML/CSV/Excel. Essential Cloud/Docker offers a full sophisticated REST API for interacting with data and the platform. Due to platform constraints, we are not able to offer a full REST API...

Re: Unable to save Protege project

A Protege project consists of 3 files. *.pprj, *.pins, *.pont. Project, Instances and Ontology. All three are required. If I recall correctly, inside the PPRJ are references to the file names of the related PINS and PONT file. If you rename the files outside of Protege then this can break the relati...

Hi,

Could you try changing the JDBC class drive name

From: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
To: com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver

Recent versions of the JDBC driver use a different name for the driver

Let me know how you get on with this

Hi jperrygodfrey, Are you using the built in Java with Protege or an external Java for Protege? If you are using the built-in Java then they will not be able to communicate via SSL/TLS unless you add the SSL/TLS certificate to the Java trustStore using the keytool command at the command line. Hi,

This appears to be an oversight on our part. They should be published at our GitHub site but it seems like our build process is excluding them.

Hi Gregg, The "file not found" issues for the Data Set APIs were a bug in that version of the release. They should not cause any practical issue and I believe they are resolved in the 6.15 release. Updating the meta- model from 6.14 to 6.15 should resolve this. A newer build v6.15 of Essen...

We're not really familiar with those scripts but I've just taken a quick look through them. Are you perhaps trying to publish to HTTPS instead of HTTP? This can definitely cause issues.
