Re: Error: JDBC Driver Not on ClassPath

Hi, I can try and recreate the issue but that's not a quick answer I'm afraid as I'd need to find time to set this up. We don't use Essential Open Source on linux Internally although many of the community do so finding an answer to this may take some time. We have used it extensively on Windows and ...

Re: Error: JDBC Driver Not on ClassPath

Hi,

This might be stretch but have you tried the JDBC driver for Ubuntu 18?

mysql-connector-java_8.0.29-1ubuntu18.04_all.deb

https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/

I'll try and investigate this further to see what I can find.

Hi jperrygodfrey, Are you using the built in Java with Protege or an external Java for Protege? If you are using the built-in Java then they will not be able to communicate via SSL/TLS unless you add the SSL/TLS certificate to the Java trustStore using the keytool command at the command line. Hi,

This appears to be an oversight on our part. They should be published at our GitHub site but it seems like our build process is excluding them.

We'll look into this an get the next sources in the next release

Hi Gregg, The "file not found" issues for the Data Set APIs were a bug in that version of the release. They should not cause any practical issue and I believe they are resolved in the 6.15 release. Updating the meta- model from 6.14 to 6.15 should resolve this. A newer build v6.15 of Essen...

Hi, In the open-source version, it's best practice with Essential Viewer to store any modifications to core files in the /user as this makes upgrading very simple.
