Re: Migrating repository from SPARX tool to Essential backend
Hi Jason,
Thanks for the explanation, i believe the second approach would work better for me. Can you give me an example for the XSL to do an association between application to application? That would a great help.

Re: Migrating repository from SPARX tool to Essential backend
Here you go This is just a sample (original is more than 1000 classes), it is completely based out of UML Class diagram and there are dependencies defined between classes, other than that there is not much info in here. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?> <XMI xmi.versi...

Re: EA Project taking long time to open
Thanks for the reply.
I have not added any instances yet. Just using the base essential metamodel now. I renamed the baseline metamodel and hosted it in the SQL server.

Re: Essential on SQL 2005 Repository - Document
No worries. I got it working. For some reason you have to specify something like this JDBC URL: jdbc:sqlserver:\\localhost no need to specify the database or the port name. But need to configure the SQL username to default database that you have created for essential repository. I will do a detailed...

Migrating repository from SPARX tool to Essential backend
Hi,
I believe somebody might have been asked this before so apologize if i am asking it again.
Did anybody have tried migrating the repository from SPARX EA tool to Essential repository?
How hard it is? And is there any guidance on achieving it?
Thanks!
