It seems really good.
It maps all the cases I had in mind.
Thanks

Re: Capturing Licensing Models - ECP-1
My point was that I believe that you must divide the cost attributes of the class from the legal attributes (wheather they are enumeration or other) because maybe the same product can be present in tha same organization with the same licence, but different costs. Is the same difference between contr...

Re: Capturing Licensing Models - ECP-1
Wonderful. This is right what I needed. I see you have added an osi_approved; there could be also a place for FSF (Free Software Foundation) approved since the two approval are not equal. I also was wandering on how to map compatibility licence (it could be the combination/combined_with self relatio...

Massive data entry
Is it possible to insert data coming from sources like DB or similar into the model. In many cases some data can be found around and it could be usefull to manage to bring it in with some sort of ETL. We for example have a catalog of products we develop for customers and could mass upload it into th...

Re: Where does licence goes
When you have the hack for adding the licence let me know so that I'll include it in the repos.
Also let me know if you could use the export used for the viewer to get the data so that I can send it to you.

I've seen that there should be a "'Essential Architecture Reporting' tab in Protege" but there isn't.

Essential viewer in multiuser configuration
I've installed the essential in the multiuser configuration so I have the protege server in MySQL.
When I look at the viewer I see an old version of the data (nothing I edited is present).
There is anything more I have to do?
Thanks

I think we are talking of the same thing, but I'll try to make myself clear. Take government agency: it have business divided into wide topica, public health, work, streets, and so on. Each department has a bunch of software to solve its need. this bunch of software constitute its "informative ...

Re: Where does licence goes
Alternatively, if what you are trying to do is to define a set of license models (GNU GPL, Mozilla, etc.) I would suggest that we create some new constructs in the EA_Support section of the meta model and relate instances of these to the relevant products. If this is what you need, let's discuss th...

Re: separating stuff and auth
My case is based on customer so both the visibility of the report and the input of part of the data should be filtered. If in the case of input of data people are from the service provider company and there might be just good internal policy. The reports must be filtered out for customer since is no...

Re: separating stuff and auth
Is it possible to define ACL to users so that one can modify (read or write in the protege sense) just things on a layer and/or on a customer line. Lets say Architects define tech layer, PMs_customer1 business Layer for customer1, PMs_customer2 business layer for customer2? Should I need to split th...

You made a really wonderful work.
How can we send you back something like new instances of Products or Suppliers that you could use to enrich the essential_baseline?
