Yes - and this is something that we've done in the past via the import technology. I believe others are also doing similar things.

The details will depend on what data you need to import, what CMDB you're using and how you've configured that CMDB. This means that the actual import is often specific to your deployment of that CMDB.

I think the Import Utility may be the simplest way forward for importing content from your CMDB using data in CSV format or similar.
