Hi!
In the installation guide, there is the passage
"Copy the file named, shutdown_protege_server.bat from your unpacked essential_architecture_manager.zip directory to the root directory of the Protege Server, e.g.
* C:\Program Files\Protege_3.4"
Well, the shutdown_protege_server.bat in the zip-file is dated January 9th, 2008, and is 840b in size while the one in C:\Program Files\Protege_3.4 is 605b in size - and already there.
So should I replace the existing file, or is the install guide outdated?
Thanks for the answer in advance!
Jane

No, you shouldn't replace it.
We provided this as it was missing from the earlier releases of Protege for Windows. If it's now (apologies for not spotting this - I'm not sure when it was introduced) go with what Protege provides you with.
I'll update the install to remove our version of shutdown_protege_server.bat and update the install guides.
Thanks very much for pointing this out!
