I'm currently seeing this version of log4j in my local instance. Is this slated to be updated/removed in the near future?

C:\standalone_essential_v618\Protege_3.5\plugins\edu.stanford.smi.protegex.owl\log4j-1.2.12.jar

Hi,

That plugin is not used by Essential. We will remove that from the download in the next release. In the mean time you can delete the parent folder for this.

Protege/plugins/edu.stanford.smi.protegex.owl

Thanks

Neil

Hi Neil,

Do you mean the whole "edu.stanford.smi.protegex.owl" folder? It contains quite a lot other files as attached, not required by Essential?

Best regards,
Xiaoqi

Yes the whole folder. The folder constitutes a "plugin" which is not used by Essential. This was a plugin developed by the original developers of the open source Protege project.
