How do disable Collaboration and Changes

Hello,

My project is setup at the server level. I had setup the protege project with the Collaboration capabilities.

My multi-user environment is based on MS SQL Server. As others have noted here, the performance is excruciating. It is taking me a long time to perform data entry and changes.

I am guessing that this is all related to the Collaboration project. I have alloted significant memory resources to the Protege client. It starts up quite quickly but during data entry the performance degrades.

How do I disable collaboration because at this point I don't see any point in using the collaboration capabilities?

I searched the website but didn't find any tutorials. Kindly provide some insights because it is slowing me down.

Thanks

Hi,

It's a while since I've had to do this but I believe if you go to

Project > Configure > Options

and uncheck "Track Changes" then this will turn off the bulk (maybe all) the collaboration features. You can then hide the collaboration panel from

Collaboration > Hide Collaboration Panel

Can you let me know if this works for you. If not I'll dig a bit deeper.

Thanks

Neil
