Unable to start Protege Server (UmarshalException)

Hello,

We have attached to this post the log for the run_protege_server.bat batch file execution. We have tried all of the workarounds and double checked all of the configurations shared in this forum (CODEBASE_URL thing, port number parameters, etc) without any success.

Environment:
- Single server installation: Windows Server 2012 R2 64bit (Azure VM)
- SQL Server 2008 R2
- SQL Server JDBC Driver 4.0
- Java 1.8 32-Bits
- Tomcat 8 32-Bits
- Protege 3.5 (Bunbled JVM) 32-Bits
- Essential 4.3.1
- Windows Firewall disabled

Database Connectivity
The project conversion and database based annotation project were succesfully executed, so I think DB connectivity is ok.

Tomcat
The Essential Viewer is succesfully opened by any web browser. We copied the protege.jar file and this can be downloaded via web browser using the same URL as in the CODEBASE_URL variable.

What else can we check?

Hi Gian Piero,

Unfortunately, I think you forgot to attach the logs however you might want to have a read through this thread which looks like it might answer your issue.

Hi Neil,

You are right You're right, I omitted to attach files, sorry about that.

In a deeper investigation in this forum I found the topic you mention, now It works.
